Meet Marcus
His roots are planted deep in Arkansas, from Oil Trough to the University of Arkansas to Camp Robinson. After nearly three decades serving our country throughout the U.S. and abroad, he returned home to Central Arkansas with his wife Carrie and two children, Will and Abby Grace.
His final assignment was a true privilege: serving as the Senior Army Advisor to the Arkansas Army National Guard.
Marcus’ service to Arkansas won’t end until he’s sure he’s leaving behind a better future for his children and all families in our state.
For 29 years, Colonel (Retired) Marcus Jones served our country on the front lines:

"As your congressman, I will proudly serve Arkansas
and protect our families.
I will fight to ensure every hard-working Arkansan
can achieve their God-given potential.”
- Marcus Jones
“I was lucky enough to serve our country and have the support of a loving family who kept me grounded and sustained me during multiple deployments. No matter where I served, I never lost my love of Arkansas, because growing up here taught me how to be a successful Soldier. But now, our families don’t have the same opportunities that I had. We are headed in the wrong direction.”
For three decades, our top military and civilian leaders trusted Marcus to deliver on complex and dangerous assignments because they knew he was Arkansas- tough and a creative problem solver.
Marcus Jones is running for Congress to continue his service to Arkansas families, workers, veterans, students, and seniors.

I’m running for Congress in the heart of Arkansas. From Beebe up to Heber Springs down to Hot Springs Village, the Second District showcases so much of the beauty of the Natural State.
I’ve been around the world and the folks here are something special. Arkansans have good hearts and grit, and Central Arkansas has a history that is truly worth protecting.
Our congressperson should be honored to represent historic Little Rock Central High, Camp Robinson, the Little Rock Air Force Base, the City of Colleges, Greers Ferry, and every single Arkansan living in Cleburne, Conway, Faulkner, Perry, Pulaski, Saline, Van Buren, or White County.
